After being a client for over seven years, we understood the demographic, business model, and aspirations of the owners of Blue Dog Software. So when they approached us in need of a major facelift for their brand and their website, we were able to quickly formulate a plan. With simplicity being at the forefront of their messaging, we used a clean, non-compartmentalized layout to convey a modern appearance. The goal was to engage the younger side of their professional, mostly male, audience while holding the attention of the more-seasoned entrepreneurs, collectors, and customers. We kept the tone approachable by using simple graphic icons and more informal verbal queues such as “you” and “your.”
In essence, we needed to crack the mold, not shatter it. The end result is a straight-forward, mobile-responsive experience that distinctly conveys what they offer and what sets them apart.
